Center for Peace and Development (CPD) is a registered and not-for-profit organization working towards ‘”peaceful, just, and prosperous society” It was established in year 2000 by group of leading development professionals and social activists. Since its inception, CPD has implemented a large number of projects. It has gradually nurtured into an efficient and effective organization that now has active presence in many districts of Balochistan. It is positively contributing to better prospects for many people.
Promoting peace and human rights, democracy and good governance with gender as cross cutting are specialized working areas of CPD. Moreover, CPD is also actively working in natural resource conservation.
CPD has strong working relationships with prominent national and international organizations. CPD has a strong presence at the grass-root level that makes it true community based organization.
